Science Safety

It is important to always use safety when conducting science experiments. Here are a few tips to follow during an experiment:

  • Never taste or eat anything during a science experiment
  • Never smell any unknown solution or object
  • Always wash your hands after doing an experiment or wear gloves if needed
  • Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes during certain experiments
  • Never mix unknown liquids or solutions
  • Always follow directions given by your teacher

If you want to try an experiment at home, always ask an adult to help you!  Never try any experiment at home by yourself!
